The signatories were Croatian Sea, Transport, and Infrastructure Minister Oleg Butković and Israeli Communications Minister Shlomo Karhi.
Butković said the memorandum represented an important step in strengthening bilateral relations and directed the cooperation of the two countries towards the development of electronic communications, modernisation of postal services, and advancement of technologies such as 5G networks.
"I believe this step will serve as a foundation for further development and deepening of relations between our two countries in this crucial and future-oriented sector,"he added.
Karhi said the memorandum paved the way for collaboration in revolutionary areas such as 5G, the Internet of Things, ultra-fast internet, cybersecurity, and artificial intelligence.
This memorandum demonstrates a commitment to tangible action, as well as promoting digital transformation, economic opportunities, and deeper cultural ties, he added.
