ZAGREB, 23 Nov (Hina) - Friar Mladen Vukšić was ordained the new, 92nd Bishop of Kotor on Saturday.

"I want to establish a special relationship of brotherhood and cooperation with everyone. I express my deep gratitude to representatives of other religious communities. We have a common task, to build together coexistence and humanity," said Vukšić, who before his latest appointment was a parish priest in Posušje, Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The principal consecrator was Zagreb Archbishop Dražen Kutleša and co-consecrators were the Archbishop of Makarska, Zdenko Križić, and the Archbishop of Bar and until now the apostolic administrator of the Kotor Diocese, Rrok Gjonlleshaj.

Attending the ceremony at the St. Tryphon Basilica in Kotor were Montenegrin President Jakov Milanović, Montenegrin Prime Minister Milojko Spajić, Croatian Foreign Minister Gordan Grlić Radman, Bosnia and Herzegovina House of Peoples President Dragan Čović, bishops and priests of the Kotor Diocese, as well as those from Posušje, and the Metropolitan of Montenegro and the Littoral of the Serbian Orthodox Church, Joanikije.
