ZAGREB, 20 Nov (Hina) - In order to further modernise its services and to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, the Croatian Post (Hrvatska Pošta, HP) has launched the procedure for the procurement of as many as 600 electric bicycles, a project worth €650,000.

The complete public tender with terms and conditions of participation was already published by the company, HP stated on Wednesday.

According to the information, HP offices in Zagreb will be provided with 60 e-bikes, 58 e-bikes will go to Bjelovar, 16 to Split, 24 to Zadar, 22 to Osijek and 20 to Rijeka, and the remaining vehicles will be distributed throughout Croatia.

At the end of 2023, HP possessed about 400 electric vehicles in its fleet, including about 100 electric bikes, electric tricycles and quadricycles.
