American CSF scholarships for gifted students in Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina

Author: Vojo Micak

ZAGREB, 8 Nov (Hina) - The California-based Croatian Scholarship Fund (CSF), the largest Croatian emigrant foundation that financially supports gifted students in Croatia, has selected a new generation of students who will receive $2,500 annually for the duration of their university studies, CSF announced on Friday.

After a rigorous evaluation process, CSF has chosen the 40 most promising high school graduates from Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina to receive a scholarship of $2,500 annually for a study period of five years. They were chosen among several hundred applications.

While in the CSF program, students are expected to maintain a high GPA (grade point average) and progress with their studies in a timely manner.

CSF was established in 1989 in Northern California. For the past 35 years it has provided scholarships to over 400 academically gifted and financially deserving Croatian students attending universities in Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina, who have successfully graduated and become leading professionals in their professions.
