ZAGREB, 23 Sept (Hina) - The ruling Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ) said on Monday that today's arrest of the mayor of the eastern town of Otok and former HDZ member of Parliament, Josip Šarić, showed that the competent authorities were doing their job independently and free from political influence.
