ZAGREB, 20 Aug (Hina) - The 18th Vukovar Film Festival will be held from 28 August to 1 September in that eastern Croatian city, with as many as 35 films competing for the festival's "Zlatni Šlep" prize ("The Golden Barge" in English).
The films will be screened at seven venues in this city in the Danube River valley.
Germany is the partner-country of this year's edition of the festival.
During the festival, the audience will be able to enjoy films from Croatia, Germany, Ukraine, Slovakia, Austria, Hungary, Serbia, Romania, Bulgaria, and other countries.
The Vukovar Film Festival screens films from the Danube River and neighbouring countries.
