For comparison sake 1,901 fewer candidates enrolled in the first year of undergraduate courses than in the 2023-24 academic year.
During this summer, 32,285 candidates (1,532 more than a year before) could choose between 1,313 undergraduate courses, the Croatian Agency for Science and Higher Education has stated.
Regarding applications per quota place, the Department of Acting at the Zagreb-based Academy of Dramatic Arts was the most sought-after course and physiotherapy at the University Department of Health Studies in Split ranked second.
After the summer enrollment period, 17,634 vacant places for future freshmen remain for the autumn enrollment period.
