The burial was part of a memorial ceremony to mark the 29th anniversary of the Srebrenica genocide, considered the worst atrocity of Bosnia's 1992-95 war. More than 8,000 Muslim men and boys were executed in the 1995 killing spree after Bosnian Serb forces overran the town. EPA/HAZIM ALJOVIC BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA OUT

ZAGREB, 11 July (Hina) - A commemoration for the victims of the Srebrenica genocide was held at the UN in New York on Thursday and was organised based on the Resolution, supported by Croatia, through which the General Assembly last May designate 11 July as the international day of remembrance for that crime.
