ZAGREB, 9 June (Hina) - According to the first incomplete results of Sunday's election for the European Parliament released by the State Election Commission at 11 p.m., the Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ) won 34.6% of the vote, which translates into six seats in the EP, and the SDP won 25.96 % of the vote and four seats.
The Homeland Movement followed with 8.82% of the vote, We Can captured 5.92% of the vote, and both of them will have one seat in the tenth European Parliament.
The data was obtained from 99.82% of polling stations.
The turnout in Croatia was a mere 21.32%, down by 8.53 percentage points in comparison to the EP polls in Croatia in 2019.
