International Day of Families has been observed since 1994 under the auspices of the United Nations, and this year's theme is climate change as one of the most important factors having a direct impact on the health and well-being of families, according to a press release by the Central State Office for Demography and Youth, the organiser of the activities of the national campaign for promoting positive and equal parenthood.
International Day of Families is an opportunity to additionally raise awareness of the impact of climate change on families and the role they can have in climate actions, the Office said.
