The establishment and development of the centre was implemented through two projects, by the European Regional Development Fund and the European Social Fund, in the amount of around €12.5 million.
So far 11 of 25 competence centres have been established across Croatia. Once they are all established, by 2025, they will serve as the basis of Croatia's vocational education, said Regional Development and EU Funds Minister Šime Erlić.
Istria County head Boris Miletić said that the Pula centre will help train new and quality personnel, responding to labour market challenges through closer cooperation with the business sector.
