The meeting took place in Woodland (New Orleans).
During the talks, Musić Milanović said she was impressed by the activities of this society and other associations and clubs of local citizens of Croat descent.
She praised their humanitarian work and assistance they had offered to Croatia when the country needed it most, and also commended their activities in the permanent promotion of Croatia and its culture and heritage.
The participants in the meeting agreed that the Croat community in the USA is an important bridge that connects the two countries.
