The chamber's president Zdravko Marinković said in Sarajevo on Tuesday that the volume of Bosnia and Herzegovina's exchange of goods and services with other countries was affected by the COVID pandemic and Russia's war of aggression against Ukraine.
Therefore the 2023 H1 foreign trade contracted two percents to €11.6 billion, compared to the corresponding period in 2022.
Bosnia's imports reached around seven billion euros, while its exports came to €4.55 billion.
Imports from Croatia make up nearly a fifth of all imports to Bosnia and Herzegovina
In the first six months, Bosnia imported €1.27 billion worth of goods and services from Croatia and its exports to that neighbour totalled €685 million.
The imports from Croatia made up 18.8% of all the imports and exports 16%.
Also, Serbia, Germany, Slovenia and Italy made top five trading partners of BiH in the first half of 2023.
