Nada Pritisanac Matulić, president of the American Croatian Congress and coordinator of the "Tie" project, said the project and the exhibition were aimed at presenting eminent Croat emigrants and connecting world universities via the tie, "a cultural treasure."
The project was launched last year by Crodiaspora and the American Croatian Congress to highlight influential Croats from the diaspora by showing their contributions to their communities, Croatia and the world.
Five exhibitions will be held in Croatia this summer, followed by exhibitions in South America, Australia, North America, and Europe again, said Pritisanac Matulić.
Bezić Filipović said she wrote the book in three languages because the intention was to visit world universities and show young people that the tie's homeland was Croatia.
The exhibition in Kotor was opened by Croatian Ambassador to Montenegro Veselko Grubišić, while the launch of the book and the exhibition was organised by the Croatian Civil Society of Montenegro.
After Kotor, the exhibition will be shown in Split and Zagreb.
