ZAGREB, 10 June (Hina) - 17-year-old Croatian tennis player Dino Prižmić is the winner of Roland Garros in the junior competition.
The young man from Split defeated Bolivian Juan Carlos Prado Angelo in the final 6-1, 6-4.
Prižmić, currently the 293rd player in the world, was third seeded, and with this success he became the second Croatian to win the junior Roland Garros, after Marin Čilić managed to do so in 2005.
In addition to Čilić and Prižmić, two other Croatian players won the title of "grand slam" winner in the junior competition - Borna Ćorić in 2013 US Open and Mili Poljička in 2022 Wimbledon.
