ZAGREB, 2 May (Hina) - Zagreb's Jarun Lake will be the venue of the first regatta of this year's World Rowing Cup on 5-7 May when 223 rowers in 121 crews from 29 countries are expected to compete in the three-day event.
Croatia will be represented by its best rowers: the Sinković brothers -- Martin and Valent -- in the men's double sculls, rower Damir Martin in the in the men's single scull, as well as the Jurković sisters -- Ivana and Josipa -- and the Lončarić brothers -- Anton and Patrik -- in the pair without a coxswain.
The director of Croatia Open, Goran Fruk, said on Tuesday, that they expect a large number of spectators at the regatta.
