The organisers said the Week of Restaurants provided an opportunity to enjoy top-quality food and try something new in the company of family and friends.
"The event has been increasingly popular every year, and restaurants are occupied to the last chair," the organisers said, noting that this year the participating restaurants will offer menus with three courses (appetizer, main course, dessert) at fixed prices of €14, 17 and 20, with regular prices being around 50% higher or more.
Included in those menus in most restaurants are aperitifs or a glass of wine. The purpose of the event, which is based on the model of similar events in cosmopolitan centres, is to enable as many citizens as possible to visit restaurants, promote restaurant culture, encourage interaction between restaurateurs and visitors, and revive the gastronomical scene in Croatia.
The restaurants participating in this year's event and their menus are available on the Tjedan restorana website. The organisers recommend making phone reservations as soon as possible.
