ZAGREB, 19 Sept (Hina) - The second King Sejong Institute in Croatia was opened at Rijeka University on Monday, with some 60 candidates having already registered for Korean language courses to start in October.

Rijeka University Rector Snježana Prijić Samaržija said at the opening ceremony that she believed relations between Rijeka University and similar institutions in Korea would be additionally strengthened.

Cooperation between Rijeka University and universities in Korea started back in 2008, and a teakwondo academy was established in 2016as part of Rijeka University.
