The association said that the drop in the sales of tractors was due to disruptions to the parts supply chain, as a result of which producers were late with their deliveries.
Both the sales of high-power tractors, such as John Deere, Case, Claas and Kubota, and lower-power ones, such as Same, Kioti, Carraro, Arbos, Ferrari and Hittner, saw a decline in the first half of the year. A rise in sales was registered for the brands Lamborginia, New Hollanda, Fendt, Landini and Sonalika.
Quad sales rising in counties with developed tourist industry
The association reported an increase in the sales of quads in coastal areas where tourism is the main business sector.
For instance, in the first half of the year 129 quads and 28 tractors were sold in Istria, 170 quads and 8 tractors in Split-Dalmatia County, and 50 quads and 9 tractors in Zadar County.
