The number of active cases in the country currently stands at 21,844. Among them are 1,893 people receiving hospital treatment, including 266 who are on ventilators, and 20,621 people are self-isolating.
Since 25 February 2020, when the first case was confirmed in Croatia, 689,831 people have been registered as having contracted the SARS-CoV-2 virus, of whom 12,232 have died and 655,755 have recovered, including 3,760 in the last 24 hours.
A total of 3,690,329 people have been tested to date, including 9,432 in the last 24 hours.
As of 23 December, 4,641,841 COVID-19 vaccine doses have been administered, with 55.47 per cent of the total population, or 66.10 per cent of the adult population, having been vaccinated. A total of 2,251,008 people have received at least one dose and 2,118,248 of them have received two doses, which is 62.37 per cent of the adult population.
