As many as 2,352 COVID-19 patients are receiving hospital treatment, including 321 patients on ventilators, the minister said, explaining that the new cases of the infection have been declining, however the hospitals are still under strain, and most hospitalised patients are unvaccinated.
To date, 65.28% of adult Croatians have been inoculated against this infectious disease.
The authorities have decided that there is no need to introduce new anti-epidemic rules for the time being.
The government today appealed for responsible behaviour and compliance with all the epidemiological rules during the forthcoming holidays.
Believers are advised to avoid high-risk gatherings during Christmas.
