ZAGREB, 27 Aug (Hina) - The HRK 47 million fishing port at Brižine in the bay of Kaštela, north of Split, was formally inaugurated at a ceremony with Agriculture Minister Marija Vučković and local officials attending it.
The new port with berths for fishing vessels also includes storage facilities and other utilities.
The minister said that 211 million kuna had been set aside for the construction and upgrade of the fishing infrastructure in Dalmatia during the term of this government.
Split-Dalmatia County Prefect Blaženko Boban announced the start of the construction of a HRK 37 million fishing port at Komiža on the island of Vis.
