The exhibition was organised under the auspices of the Croatian government's office for human rights and ethnic minorities' rights, and is a part of the project focusing on the inclusivity of ethnic Roma members in society.
The implementation of the project started in 2019, and is being co-funded by the European Social Fund.
The video recordings and photographs that are part of this exhibition cover the life of six young Roma people in Croatia.
The head of the above-mentioned office, Alen Tahiri, said that the government continued elevating the rights of ethnic communities, including the Roma community.
He warned that findings of surveys conducted from 2017 to 2020 show that only one in three Roma children attended pre-school education and that only one in three Roma went to secondary school.
Nandor Čepo of the education ministry said that this ministry had been conducting programmes for Roma children for years to increase their numbers in the schooling system.
