ZAGREB, 16 May (Hina) - The Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ) won eight seats or 23.53% of votes in Sunday's local elections for the 31-seat Split City Council, while the Centre party also won eight seats, trailing behind on 22.23%, exit polls showed.
