HTZ expects more than 180 flight services to Croatia during summer

Author: Roberta Mlinarić

ZAGREB, 2 May (Hina) - More than 180 airline services will connect international destinations with Croatia this summer, and most of them are in Great Britain, Germany, France and Poland, the Croatian Tourism Board (HTZ) has said.

Many airlines have introduced and announced flights to Croatia prompted by tourist demand and significant interest in Croatia in many markets, the HTZ says, noting that Croatia's status as a safe and desirable destination has contributed to this. It called on members of the public, partners, tourism workers and others to behave responsibly and comply with epidemiological restrictions.

The HTZ has announced flights by Ryanair from Liverpool, Edinburgh and Newcastle as well as flights by British Airways from London to Split, Dubrovnik and Pula, while EasyJet will fly from London to Pula, Zadar, Split and Dubrovnik.

EasyJet will also fly from Glasgow, Bristol, Belfast and Manchester to Croatia. Jet2.com has announced flights from Manchester to Pula, Split and Dubrovnik and it will also connect Croatian airports with Leeds, Birmingham and Newcastle.

Lufthansa has announced flights from Frankfurt to Rijeka and is also planning the introduction of a service connecting Zagreb and Munich while Ryanair is expected to connect, during the summer months, Zadar and Berlin, Cologne, Karlsruhe and Memmingen. The Irish carrier also plans flights from Zagreb to Dortmund, Frankfurt, Karlsruhe and Memmingen.

Eurowings, too, will connect Croatian and German destinations. In May it will resume flights to a number of Croatian airports and will operate 10 regular lines to Zagreb, Rijeka, Zadar and Split. Condor will fly to Split from Munich, Düsseldorf and Frankfurt.

Croatian and French destinations will be connected by Air France, Transavia, Ryanair and Volotee while LOT, Wizz Air, Smartwings, Ryanair and Buzz will connect Croatia with Poland.

Foreign carriers and Croatia Airlines will fly from Croatia to other countries as well.
