The 30,000-tonne ship "Orient Cavalier", registered in Cyprus, transported coal which will be transloaded and sent from Ploče to Zenica, central Bosnia and Herzegovina.
This is the largest vessel to anchor in Ploče so far.
It sailed into the new terminal for bulk cargo, built within this southern seaport, as part of a project co-financed by the World Bank and the Croatian government in 2019. The new terminal started operating last year, the port's director Hrvoje Livaja told Hina on Thursday morning.
