The award is given for commercial innovations that promote innovation and contribute to improving Croatian innovativeness and competitiveness.
On 17 July the association advertised a call for applications and received 16 innovations that were judged according to the set criteria. Three innovations with the highest scores were additionally inspected and it was decided that the award should go to Tehnix.
Innovative solutions relate to the efficiency of waste collection and rational construction solutions that reduce the cost of manufacturing and with that the cost of investment by utility companies, the association said in a press release.
The association's president Ivan Bracic presented the company's CEO, Djuro Horvat with a plaque and award, underlining that only through the effective application of innovations can we change the structure of the national economy and improve the competitiveness of Croatia's industry and its products on the global market.
