"The 'Take a Walk With Us' campaign promotes privacy, unspoiled nature and a safe environment, which have never been more important than they are now at a time of a pandemic, and that is also our response to new market demands in the travel industry," the tourist board said.
Besides natural and cultural beauties of the destination, the campaign encourages visitors, through the concept of "walks", to get to know all the riches of the county through videos and the storytelling format.
"This year has been extremely challenging, especially in tourism, so it was necessary to respond quickly and design and adjust communication in a different way to encourage tourists to make quick decisions and visit the destination at the time of a global crisis," the S.T.A.R. Digital agency said, adding that the author of the photo and video materials was Toma Kezic.
As the holder of the project, the Sibenik-Knin County Tourist Board, with the support of the National Tourist Board (HTZ), gathered key destination stakeholders, including the Sibenik and Vodice tourist boards, Krka and Kornati national parks, the Sibenik Fortress of Culture and the Sibenik-Knin County public institution "Nature".
The campaign was carried out on the Austrian, German, Slovenian, Polish and Czech markets.
