"The traditional ways of meeting business partners -- fairs, delegations, individual meetings -- are currently not possible. However, the economy is no stranger to challenges and extraordinary situations," HGK president Luka Burilovic said on the occasion of the 2nd edition of a networking project aimed at connecting Croatian companies with their partners abroad, held trough the HGK's online platform Go Global - Go Virtual, with the support of the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN).
Burilovic underscored that Russia was an important market for Croatian companies because of its size as well as because of traditional business relations between enterprises.
Croatia's Ambassador to the Russian Federation, Tomislav Car, commented on the dynamics of Croatian-Russian relations, which are seeing an upward movement due to meeting of state officials, cultural projects, academic cooperation, cooperation between cities and regions, as well as the Croatia-Russia business forum.
HGK's initiative was also welcomed by Russia's Ambassador to Croatia, Anvar Azimov, who underscored that there were great opportunities for strengthening cooperation with the institutional support of Croatia and Russia.
Azimov invited Russian companies to take part in the discussions and find their partners in Croatia.
