The "Mare" film, co-produced by Croatia and Switzerland, is about a woman whose name is Mare and who has never flown, although she lives right next to the airport with her husband and their three teenage kids. She loves her family and cares for them, but sometimes almost feels like a stranger in her own home.
The Croatian short film titled "Antiotpad" ("Anti-Waste" in an unofficial translation), won the Heart of Sarajevo for Best Short Film. The 18-minute film, directed by Tin Zanic, is about a problematic teenage boy.
