The sectorial association called "Professionals for EU funds" says that the amount of 22 billion euros which is made available to Croatia over a period of seven years "is a strong lever that should be fully used through good projects and applications."
The association's chairwoman Ana Fresl was quoted in a press release as calling for making also all other funds available as soon as possible as measures to help the economy in the post-corona crisis period.
Croatia is eligible to tap €12.6 billion from the Multiannual Financial Framework and an additional €9.4 billion from the NextGenerationEU instrument. Of the latter amount, slightly over 5.4 billion can be disbursed as grants and 2.35 billion as loans.
