52 new cases of COVID-19 identified in Croatia

ZAGREB, July 7 (Hina) - In the last 24 hours 52 new cases of infection with COVID-19 have been reported in Croatia, and the number of infected persons currently stands at 930 while 4,709 people are in self-isolation, the national COVID-19 response team said on Tuesday.

Of the total number of those who have contracted the disease, 89 are hospitalised, including five who are on ventilators. There have been no new fatalities.

Since February 25, when the first case of infection with COVID-19 was reported in Croatia, a total of 3,272 people have been infected, and of them 113 have died while 2,229 have recovered.

A total of 86,860 people have been tested to date, including 866 in the last 24 hours.
