The skywalk, worth eight million kuna, is part of the EU-funded New Adrion project, worth HRK 31 million, and the non-repayable funds in the amount of 27 million kuna have been secured from European Union funds. The remaining sum has been ensured from the Croatian Fund for the Protection of Environment and Energy Efficiency as well as the nature park institution.
Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic, who formally opened the new facility, said that the skywalk enriched the nature park with a new dimension and would become a landmark of the whole riviera.
