Plenkovic said that considering the importance of sports for tourism and for Zadar, the government had supported the tournament launched by world No. 1 tennis player Novak Djokovic.
"This is a great message since neither the ATP nor the WTA tournaments are being held. This event will greatly contribute to the promotion of Zadar and Croatia in the world," said the PM, who left Zadar for Sibenik, where he was to attend the opening of the 60th International Children's Festival.
