ZAGREB, May 6 (Hina) - The International Nurses Week will this year be observed online from 5 to 12 May, and organisers say that it will be remembered for the exceptional contribution of nurses to the fight against the coronavirus pandemic.
There will be no public health drives, training courses or live events, the Croatian Association of Nurses (HNSS), one of the organisers of the International Nurses Week, said.
This year's event will be dedicated to nurses who have been infected with the novel coronavirus or had to self-isolate.
There are around 31,000 nurses in the Croatian health sector and they are the largest professional group in the sector, accounting for 43% of its employees.
