Minister: Percentage of tests coming back positive declining

ZAGREB, April 30 (Hina) - Health Minister Vili Beros said at the government's meeting on Thursday that the number of COVID-19 tests which turned out to be positive was declining and currently the percentage of positive cases out of all those tested stood at 5.98%.

Since the outbreak of the coronavirus epidemic in Croatia, a total of 34,476 tests have been performed, and to date, 2,062 persons have tested positive for the virus.

So far, 1,288 recoveries

So far, 1,288 Croatians have recovered from this disease, which is 62.46% of the total number of positive cases. Currently, there are 14,181 people in self-isolation.

The average age of the infected is 51 years, and women amount for 54.1% of all those who have tested positive.
