"Politicking can only occur through questions. Politicking is being incited by someone who thinks they will benefit from it after two months' of the successful work of this crisis management team," Bozinovic told a regular press conference.
"For two months now we have been informing of the situation regarding the virus that has infected the entire world. We are providing very precise information about how to behave and organise life. We are adopting measures aimed at fulfilling the first demand and that is to protect health and lives," he said.
Now, we are in a phase of relaxing measures and the National Civil Protection Authority has a delicate role with regard to monitoring the effects of the eased restrictions on the health situation. Those measures have only just started and naturally we will monitor them in the next day of so and see how the situation develops, with the aim of not returning to the restrictive measures we had and so we can head toward normalising life," added Bozinovic.
First day of first stage of relaxed measures goes smoothly
Speaking of the first day of relaxed epidemiological measures, Bozinovic underlined that inspectors visited businesses throughout the country that have opened, and so far there have not been any irregularities identified. If any irregularities were to be identified they would resolved by the relevant authorities, he added.
