EU foreign ministers held a video conference to discuss the situation in Ukraine and the policy of the Eastern Partnership which also includes Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia and Moldova.
Last year the EU and its six neighbours marked the 10th anniversary of this initiative, and the EU will help them in the fight against the pandemic and its consequences, Croatian foreign minister Gordan Grlic Radman said.
The ministers also discussed the conflict in Libya, agreeing that it was crucial to provide humanitarian aid to that country and work as much as possible on reducing the migratory pressure and preventing a new wave of the pandemic in Europe, Grlic Radman said.
