The markets of this kind were closed recently in a bid to battle the spread of the coronavirus infection.
In the capital city of Zagreb, the working hours of those facilities will be from 8 a.m.to 1 p.m, the local authorities stated on Wednesday evening.
Apart from a dozen markets in the whole area of Zagreb, also a drive-in market in the Zitnjak facilities has been established.
In Rijeka, also fish markets will be reopened.
Other cities in the country reported that the local authorities made preparations for reopening farmers' markets.
Customers and sellers are requested to strictly stick to the rules imposed by the crisis management team on social distancing and other preventive measures aimed at curbing the infection.
