ZAGREB, March 27 (Hina) - EU leaders on Thursday expressed readiness to help Croatia deal with the consequences of a 5.5 earthquake which struck Zagreb on Sunday.
"We express our fullest sympathy with the Croatian Presidency and people, and stand ready to assist them in coping with the effects of the recent earthquake," said a joint statement EU leaders adopted at a video conference.
The conference was chaired by European Council President Charles Michel.
