At a time when both infected persons and their families are facing difficulties and when families' sources of income are questionable, we can make a contribution and help the community with socially responsible behaviour, the association said.
The association has more than 50 members, translators and interpreters for various language combinations. Many of them have had their professional engagements cancelled due to the epidemic and sympathise with families directly affected by the disease.
They are willing to provide free translation and interpretation services for people who have been hospitalised, or those who are in isolation and are required to send their medical documentation to their employers abroad, or who are in isolation in other countries and their family want to contact their doctor, or for foreign nationals who are in Croatia and are either infected with the coronavirus or have been placed in isolation but do not speak Croatian and need to speak to a doctor.
