ZAGREB, Nov 12 (Hina) - A conference was held in Split on Tuesday to observe the first mention of the term "Mare Nostrum" for Croatia's Adriatic Sea in a charter issued by Peter Kresimir IV, who was the King of Croatia and Dalmatia from 1059 until his death in 1074 or 1075 and who used the term "Mare Nostrum" for the Adriatic Sea in a document he issued in 1069.
