ZAGREB, March 20 (Hina) - The Appeals Chamber of the United Nations Mechanism for International Criminal Tribunals (MICT) in The Hague, the successor to the International Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY), on Wednesday increased the sentence for Bosnian Serb wartime leader Radovan Karadzic to life imprisonment, saying that the prison term of 40 years handed down by a Trial Chamber three years ago was inadequate.
