ZAGREB, Feb 12 (Hina) - European Parliament President Antonio Tajani is not an elected official in Italy which is why Croatia cannot send a diplomatic note to Rome, Croatian Foreign and European Affairs Minister Marija Pejcinovic Buric said Tuesday, adding that Croatia's prompt condemnation of Tajani's statement about "Italian Istria and Dalmatia" was the only appropriate reaction.
