An independent hearing is set to begin on 16 September 2024 assessing over 100 alleged breaches of Premier League financial rules by Manchester City between 2009 and 2023. Manchester City have denied all charges, which allege that they failed to provide accurate financial information and to properly disclose player and manager payments over a period of nine seasons, that they did not comply with UEFA financial fair play regulation over a period of five years, that they breached Premier League profit and sustainability rules over three season and that they failed to cooperate with Premier League investigations.
