Croatia has so far bagged four golds, six silver medals and one bronze (11 on aggregate) and the medalists are the best national female Alpine skier Janica Kostelic with four gold and two silver medals, her brother Ivica Kostelic, who has grabbed four silver medals in Alpine skiing, and biathlon athlete Jakov Fak, now competing for Slovenia, who has won one bronze medal.

Ole Einar Bjorndalen, who first appeared at the Games in Lillehammer in 1994, has so far won 13 medals - 8 gold, 4 silver and one bronze.
He is followed by his compatriots - cross-country skiers Bjorn Daehlie and Marit Bjoergen, with 12 and 10 medals respectively.
