ZAGREB, Aug 24 (Hina) - Speaking about amendments to the Local Self-Government Act on Thursday, Public Administration Minister Lovro Kuscevic said their purpose was to enable a more efficient functioning of local and regional self-government bodies as well as improve relations between municipal and town councils and local and regional self-government officials, as well as slightly restrict the powers of mayors and municipal heads.
