ZAGREB, July 17 (Hina) - Prime Minister and Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ) leader Andrej Plenkovic said on Monday, taking stock of the first year of his term as party president, that the HDZ was consolidated and firmly positioned as a centre-right party which achieved stability on the state level, stressing that he advocates a serious political mainstream able to defeat demagogic and populist forces.
