ZAGREB, June 19 (Hina) - The short animated film "Hedgehog's Home" by Eva Cvijanovic, a Canadian-Croatian co-production, has won the best film award in the Young Audience category at the 41st Annecy International Animation Film Festival, the Croatian Audio-Visual Centre (HAVC), which co-financed the film, said on Sunday.
The French festival of animated films, which brings together thousands of animation professionals every year, was held from June 12 to 17.
Hedgehog's Home, based on the fable by the ex-Yugoslav poet and novelist Branko Copic, premiered at this year's Berlin International Film Festival and won a special acknowledgement in the Generation Kplus category. At the recent Animafest in Zagreb, it won the Audience Award and a special jury acknowledgement.
