Exit polls show major parties in lead for assemblies in 4 largest cities

ZAGREB, May 21 (Hina) - According to exit polls, incumbent Zagreb mayor Milan Bandic's slate is in the lead in the election for the city assembly, while the coalition led by the Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ) is leading in the polls for the Split, city assembly, the Social Democratic Party supported by a few parties, including the Croatian People's Party (HNS) slate is leading in Rijeka and in Osijek the leading slate so far is that of the SDP-led coalition.
